Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival – Darjeeling
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station and drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local market or relaxing amidst the cool mountain climate.
Day 2 - Darjeeling Sightseeing
Wake up early for a visit to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga (weather permitting). Continue sightseeing with visits to Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Japanese Peace Pagoda, and a famous Tea Estate.
Day 3 - Explore Darjeeling
After breakfast, enjoy another day exploring Darjeeling at a relaxed pace. You may take an optional ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Toy Train, visit the Happy Valley Tea Estate, explore local cafés, or shop for tea, handicrafts, and souvenirs at the bustling local markets.
Day 4 - Darjeeling – Gangtok
After breakfast, drive to Gangtok, enjoying scenic mountain roads and beautiful river valleys. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore the lively MG Marg, known for shopping, restaurants, and local handicrafts.
Day 5 - Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Enchey Monastery, Bakthang Waterfall, Do Drul Chorten, Flower Exhibition Centre, and the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. You may also enjoy an optional Gangtok Ropeway ride for panoramic city views.
Day 6 - Departure
