Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Darjeeling
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and transfer to Darjeeling. Check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local markets or relaxing amidst the cool mountain weather.
Day 2 - Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning, visit Tiger Hill to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue sightseeing at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Japanese Peace Pagoda, and a famous Tea Garden. You may also enjoy an optional ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Toy Train.
Day 3 - Darjeeling – Gangtok
After breakfast, drive to Gangtok, the beautiful capital of Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic journey through lush green hills and the Teesta River valley. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the lively MG Marg, known for shopping, cafés, and local cuisine.
Day 4 - Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the major attractions of Gangtok, including Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Banjhakri Waterfalls, and Flower Exhibition Centre. You may also enjoy an optional Gangtok Ropeway Ride for panoramic city views.
Day 5 - Departure
