Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Hanoi
Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi. Meet your local representative and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax. Later, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, subject to opening hours. Explore Hanoi Old Quarter, famous for its traditional streets, local markets, cafés and souvenir shops. Optional: enjoy a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Show. Dinner at a local restaurant at your own cost, unless included in the package. Overnight: Hanoi hotel.
Day 2 - Hanoi Full-Day City Tour
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex from outside or enter if open and permitted. See the Presidential Palace grounds and Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, subject to access. Visit the One Pillar Pagoda. Afternoon: Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s historic centre of learning. Explore West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda, subject to time. Lunch at a local restaurant, if included. Evening: Enjoy free time for shopping in the Old Quarter. Return to the hotel and relax before the Ha Long Bay excursion. Overnight: Hanoi hotel.
Day 3 - Hanoi to Ha Long Bay - Overnight Cruise
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and depart for Ha Long Bay by shared shuttle or private vehicle arranged through the cruise operator. The road journey generally takes approximately 2.5–4 hours, depending on the pickup location and traffic. Arrive at the cruise terminal and complete check-in formalities. Board the cruise and enjoy a welcome drink and safety briefing. Have lunch onboard while sailing past spectacular limestone islands and emerald waters. Visit a designated cave, lagoon or scenic island, depending on the cruise itinerary. Enjoy kayaking or a bamboo boat ride, subject to the selected cruise and weather conditions. Return to the cruise and relax on the sundeck. In the evening, enjoy sunset views and dinner onboard. Optional onboard activities may include squid fishing, a cooking demonstration or evening entertainment. Overnight: Cruise cabin in Ha Long Bay. Day 4 - Ha Long Bay Cruise to Hanoi
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over Ha Long Bay. Optional morning Tai Chi session, depending on the cruise schedule. Enjoy breakfast onboard. Continue with a final sightseeing activity, such as a cave visit or scenic cruise through the bay, as scheduled. Return to the cruise terminal. Enjoy brunch or an early lunch onboard, depending on the cruise package. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon or early evening. Check in to the hotel and relax. Day 5 - Hanoi to Da Nang - Da Nang City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your domestic flight to Da Nang. Arrive at Da Nang International Airport and meet your representative. Transfer to the hotel and check in, subject to hotel timings. Visit Marble Mountains, featuring limestone hills, caves, pagodas and viewpoints, subject to arrival time. Visit My Khe Beach for a relaxing walk and photographs. Explore the Han River waterfront. See the famous Dragon Bridge from outside. Return to the hotel. Overnight: Da Nang hotel. If the flight arrives late, Marble Mountains can be shifted to Day 7.
Day 6 - Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ba Na Hills, a mountain resort near Da Nang. Enjoy the scenic cable-car ride, subject to operations. Visit the world-famous Golden Bridge, supported by giant sculpted hands. Explore the French Village and scenic viewpoints. Enjoy the landscaped gardens and take photographs. Visit Fantasy Park for included attractions, subject to the ticket purchased and operating hours. Lunch at the resort, if included. In the afternoon, return by cable car and transfer back to Da Nang. Day 7 - Hoi An Ancient Town Excursion
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a relaxed morning at the hotel or My Khe Beach. Lunch at your own cost unless included. Afternoon: Transfer by road to Hoi An Ancient Town. Explore the historic streets and traditional yellow buildings. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge area and historic merchant houses, subject to access and entry fees. Browse local handicraft shops, cafés and tailor boutiques. Evening: Enjoy Hoi An’s famous lantern-lit streets. Day 8 - Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City - City Orientation
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to Da Nang Airport for your domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Check in and relax. Afternoon sightseeing: Visit the Central Post Office. See Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon from outside, depending on access and restoration work. Visit or drive past the Reunification Palace, depending on arrival time. Explore Ben Thanh Market for shopping and souvenirs. Walk along Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street. Day 9 - Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City
